It is raining this afternoon in Washington, DC. I'll be leaving soon to go to Capitol Hill to meet with the Georgia US Senators. It will be interesting to hear their comments on the Health Plan; especially since the vote has been post poned until sometime in August.

Will they have a comment about the proposed teacher furloughs that will begin July 27 in some school systems. John Oxendine, Insurance Commissionar (running for Governor too) has issued a statement of support for teachers.
